Canine Capture

Canine Capture explores the ancient and ongoing relationship between humans and canids, through the lens of a ten-year companionship of one human and one dog. How does a dog move through a landscape? What does the canine umweltÌýperceive in our shared world? Can canine choreography and cognition teach us something about sharing space with canids, as wolves are reintroduced to Colorado? Using motion capture technology, responsive lighting, and immersiveÌýsoundscapes, the piece will be co-created by an interspecies team of human and canine artists.
