The deadline for the registration and title submission is November 20.
If you are interested in presenting, please There will be two poster sessions to accommodate participants with competing commitments, as well as student talks in between (a new feature this year):
- Poster Session 1: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- Student Talks: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
- Session 2: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
If you want to attend but not show a poster or give a talk, we still ask that you register so that we have enough food. If you do present, we only need the poster title; no abstract is required. This is a catered event. Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 AM, after the first poster session, and will be available until the end. We will also have coffee/snacks. The student talks during the lunch hour will be in AGU style (8+2), and they are primarily intended for students who got a talk at the AGU or AMS meeting and would like to practice, but contributions unrelated to either of those upcoming conferences will also be scheduled, time permitting. The selection of the talks will be made by the ESSS committee.
There will be several options for poster feedback:Ìý
1) Enter the poster competition to win a prize in either the undergraduate or graduate category.Ìý
2) Receive feedback from an ATOC mentor assigned to you.
3) Both 1) and 2)
4) No feedback
