Jane Majkiewicz has more than 35 years of experience in editing, writing, and digital content development. She has worked on a wide range of publications, including high-tech trade journals, newspapers, books, websites, and alumni magazines, serving in roles ranging from reporter and writer to managing editor and executive editor.

Two of Jane's favorite positions combined her love of writing and food. She was a restaurant reviewer for the Portland Press Herald and a literary associate for The Ekus Group literary agency, where she contributed to more than 100 cookbook projects.

Before joining Leeds, Jane spent 12 years at Smith College, first as associate editor of the award-winning Smith Alumnae Quarterly and later as a digital content specialist for the college's website. She has also worked as a freelance copy editor for more than 20 years, including more than a decade editing reports and website content for CSA Research.

Jane holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
