ErikoÌýYatabe-Waldock
- International Programs Manager and Advisor
Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Eriko spent many years in NY before moving to Boulder, her dream place since high school. She has an MS in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Intercultural Communications. She was interested in the communication problems between local employees and Japanese expatriates, so she took a few Wharton MBA courses as well. That led to her working for 2 years in the US equity and 8 years in global corporate credits, both in New York City. She published several global corporate credit and industrial outlook reports and handled debt issues as large as US$10 billion as a member of the global rating committee. Then, she decided to return to education and worked at Pace University as a Designated School Official and the administrative coordinator before coming to IEC.
Outside work, her world revolves around her dogs. She enjoys competing, training, and hiking with her dogs on the beautiful Colorado trails.
