We will approach these topics from the perspectives of film history and the theoretical concepts of cinephilia, spectatorship, and reflexivity. Films include:ÌýSherlock Jr.,ÌýA Star is Born,ÌýSunset Boulevard, Singin’ in the Rain,ÌýSilent Movie,ÌýThe Purple Rose of Cairo, Hearts of Darkness,ÌýEd Wood, Adaptation, Tropic Thunder, and many more.
