The Business, Finance, and Infrastructure Opportunity for Change Committee, in partnership with Employee Services and the Division of Student Life, is offering multilingual Open Enrollment workshops on Tuesday, April 14. These sessions are designed to help staff understand their medical, dental, vision, and savings plan options before Open Enrollment begins on April 20.

Please share this information with your teams and in your breakrooms so staff can easily see the schedule.

In recognition of National Financial Literacy month, the Division of Employee Health & Well-Being is excited to share Financial Fitness; two weeks of focused programming (April 6–17) designed to help you feel more confident, informed, and in control of your financial life.

Facilitated by financial experts from TIAA, PERA, Elevations Credit Union, CU System, Collegelnvest, Medicare, and more, Financial Fitness offerings highlight the tools, resources, and guidance already available to you, making it easier to take meaningful steps toward your financial goals, no matter where you’re starting. We are especially thrilled to welcome CU alum and Accredited Financial Counselor, Holly Morphew, on Wednesday, April 8 to deliver our keynote session, “Wealth is for Everyone: Reclaiming Financial Power in Today's Economy."

Volunteer and help reduce waste from students moving out of on campus housing during our Give & Go donation drive. Volunteers will help collect and sort donated items so that they can be distributed back to the CU and local community. There are three volunteer shifts available:

Runner: during the main move out week help CU Environmental Center student staff collect donations from residence halls on campus. Shifts will include organizing and moving donations, tidying donation areas and talking to students about the benefits of donating
Buff Pantry Donation Sorting Volunteer: after move out ends help the CU Buff Pantry sort collected food and personal care items. Food items that are usable will be taken to the Buff Pantry for the CU community to pick up for free. Expired and opened items will be composted.
CU Surplus Store Sorting Volunteer: after move out ends help the staff at the CU Surplus Store sort through donated items. Items will be stocked in the CU Surplus Store for resale at low cost and saved for sale during fall welcome in August.
