Stress and Coping in College Youth (SCCY)

Are you a first-year student at ��ñ��? Do you have a parent or sibling with a history of depression or anxiety? Join the Stress and Coping in College Youth (SCCY) Study to help us understand wellness on campus!

The Research on Affective Disorders and Development Lab is conducting research on stress coping in first year CU students. We want to understand what helps CU students cope with stress during major transitions, including the transition to college and across semesters.

The study includes a few different parts that happen over the three-semester study period:

There are two in-person research sessions, each of which takes about 4-6 hours. During these sessions, you will play some computer games while we monitor physical functioning (for example, your heart rate). You will also complete a set of interviews and surveys that ask about stress, behavior, mood, and health.
There are three 21-day periods in which we will send you a daily “microsurvey” (1-3 minutes to answer) asking about your behavior and mood using an app.
There are two one-hour online surveys that we will send to your email.

The study takes place over the course of three semesters, and you will be compensated for your participation (maximum of $446-470 for completing all parts of the study).

JLF Colorado is an annual international literature festival celebrating books, ideas, stories, and community. A sister festival of the world-renowned Jaipur Literature Festival, JLF Colorado has been hosted each September in Boulder since 2014 by Teamwork Arts. The festival features inspiring authors and thought leaders from across Colorado and around the world.

The event is free and open to all. Attendees are welcome to enjoy morning music, engage in thought-provoking conversations, and attend as many sessions as they like throughout the weekend. Visit the JLF Colorado website to learn more and register.

RMFACC Internship Opportunity

The Rocky Mountain French American Chamber in Colorado (RMFACC) is looking for an intern to assist with one of their largest events of the year, Bastille Day French Fest, where Denver Meets France, a cultural experience, wine and culinary journey celebrating French heritage. The intern will assist with various tasks related to event planning such as vendor and sponsor communications, the creation of sponsorship and marketing materials, and event promotion. Time commitment is 10-15 hours a week. While the internship is non-paid, the intern will have the benefit of enhancing their language skills and gain hands-on experience in event management. This short-term internship starts June 20th and ends August 30th. Must be able to attend the Bastille Day French Fest event on July 11th, 12th and 13th. Researching European Jewish Life - Fall 2025 Course

Graduate and advanced undergraduate students are invited to enroll in HIST 5554/HIST 4554/JWST 4554: Researching European Jewish Life, a unique collaborative course offered Fall 2025 by ��ñ��, the Open University of Israel, and the Technical University of Berlin. This class explores German-Jewish life and ego-documents from the 19th and 20th centuries through team-taught sessions with international experts. International Affairs Program | IAFS 1000: Global Issues and International Affairs

The International Affairs Program is hiring Teaching Assistants (TAs) for Fall 2025 to support IAFS 1000: Global Issues and International Affairs. We are hiring:

Five 50% appointments (~20 hours/week, tuition remission for 9–18 credit hours)
One 25% appointment (~10 hours/week, tuition remission for 5 credit hours)

Have a background in global topics (broad range of expertise on international affairs welcomed)
