I am studying the application of foundation models for flood identification. These large-scale AI models are trained on massive, diverse datasets (satellite imagery, climate data, text) that can be adapted to various water-related tasks—like flood forecasting, runoff prediction, or soil moisture estimation—without needing to be retrained from scratch.
