Karis Wulf graduated from the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ in May 2025 with a B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and minors in Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). During her undergraduate studies, she completed an honors thesis through the Colorado Motor Speech Lab examining speech characteristics in Spinocerebellar Ataxia subtypes 3 and 6.

Karis is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ. As part of her graduate training, she completed the GeriCare Everywhere program through the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, receiving interdisciplinary education focused on the care of older adults.

Her research and clinical interests include motor speech disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, dementia, aphasia, and other adult neurogenic communication disorders. She is particularly interested in serving adults and older adults with communication and swallowing disorders in medical settings. As a future speech-language pathologist, she hopes to combine evidence-based clinical practice with research to improve quality of life for individuals with neurological conditions.

Outside of academics and research, Karis enjoys golfing, quilting, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends, and husband.
