SuviCa advances SVC112 toward first-in-human clinical trials

SuviCa, a CU spinout developing novel cancer therapeutics, reached an important regulatory milestone for SVC112, its first-in-class protein synthesis inhibitor for advanced and metastatic solid tumors. Following a Type B pre-IND interaction, the FDA provided positive feedback supporting the program's path toward an IND submission and first-in-human clinical study.Ìý

SVC112 was developed through a research collaboration between ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Professor Tin Tin Su (Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology) and CU Anschutz Professor Antonio Jimeno (Medical Oncology), with additional support from the . The milestone highlights the potential for collaborative research across CU campuses to translate discoveries from the lab toward commercialization and patient impact.
