The task force charged with examining graduate student stipends and benefits, including graduate student fees, has posted its draft report for a 60-day community review.
Nine ñ students have been offered prestigious Fulbright awards, and five more have alternate status. Fulbright is the nation’s flagship international educational exchange program.
Two ñ undergraduates who have demonstrated a strong potential to succeed as researchers in science, engineering and math have been named recipients of the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship.
The governing boards, including Chancellor Philip DiStefano, endorsed adding five independent members to the Board of Governors, who will join college and university presidents in setting the direction of college sports.

In late May or early June, a draft report will be made available to the campus community for feedback and suggestions leading up to ñ’s next national accreditation, which is scheduled for 2020.
The Housing Master Plan and Transportation Master Plan initiatives are deep into outreach and data-gathering phases, with surveys having recently been sent to campus community members. An Energy Master Plan initiative is slated to launch this summer.

The “I Have A Dream” Foundation of Boulder County recently recognized CU’s efforts to host precollegiate interns on campus for the past 20 years with the first-ever Building the Dream Internship Host of the Year Award.
The Renée Crown Wellness Institute will promote the wellness of children and youth and the adults who support them. Key areas of interest include the study of mindfulness, compassion and belonging.
