Visit the Environmental Center's table on the first floor of the UMC to grab free recycled school supplies that were collected at the on-campus Recycling Operations Center. There will be a little bit of everything, but it is first-come, first-served.

Transition from High School to College

Join this presentation to learn some differences between high school and college, including the difference in laws, expectations and responsibilities related to your accommodations.

Commuter Kickoff Buff Meetup

4–6 p.m. UMC 102 (Commuter Lounge)
Come meet other commuters, grab some dinner, jump into bowling, billiards or ping-pong at The Connection, or chill with board games in the lounge. The Beyond Campus Advisors team will also be there to meet you, answer questions, and help you get settled for the year.

Departments from across campus will showcase their job and professional experience opportunities—including mentorship, internships, research, volunteering, skill certificates, entrepreneurship and more. Hourly and work-study positions are available. This event is open to all current undergraduate and graduate students.

Stop by Norlin Library and grab a cold drink, meet librarians and learn how they can help you with your research. The library holds free consultation hours every week at noon on Tuesdays during the fall and spring semesters.

Celebrate ��ñ��'s 150th anniversary with an inspiring evening of TED-talk style presentations by faculty across the university whose research and creative work advance the public good.
