Student Researcher Opportunity: Human-Robot Teaming

Description: We are seeking a motivated student researcher to join a research project investigating trust, cognitive workload, and fatigue during human-robot teaming. The project uses an immersive 3D warehouse environment in which participants interact with an autonomous robotic teammate across repeated sessions.
The student will have opportunities to contribute to behavioral and physiological data processing, and analysis. Data include behavioral interactions and physiological measures from biomarkers.

Required: Ideal candidates are students interested in human-robot interaction, human factors, cognitive science, neuroscience, data science, or related fields. Experience with MATLAB, Python, or statistical learning methods is helpful but not required.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with an interdisciplinary research project at the intersection of human-robot teaming, physiological sensing, and cognitive-state modeling.

Pay: $18-$22 per hour

Commitment: Up to 10 hours per week.

To apply: Please contact Prachi Dutta at Prachi.Dutta@colorado.edu. Please provide your resume and a one-paragraph description of your qualifications and interest in working on this project.
