Practice Exams and Post Exam Evaluation Sessions

Practice exams and Post Exam Evaluation Sessions let engineering students simulate real test conditions by actively retrieving and applying knowledge—this “testing effect enhances long-term retention and deep understanding better than passive review. They also pinpoint knowledge gaps, sharpen pacing and time‑management skills under pressure, and build familiarity with exam formats—helping to ease anxiety and foster confidence on test day.

ACADEMIC COACHING

CEAS offers free, individualized Professional and Peer Academic Coaching-both in-person and online-where academic coaches build trusting relationships to help students enhance self-awareness, develop academic skills and habits, and create action plans that boost performance in a collaborative and ongoing process.

Professional Academic Coaches in CEAS are professionally-trained staff members, often with a certification or credential in coaching, who develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of strategies that support effective learning and executive functioning, while achieving and maintaining balance.

Meet with a current engineering student to learn a new organizational tool or learning strategy!

Peer Academic Coaches are current engineering students trained by the Academic Success Team of Professional Academic Coaches to help in areas of learning and priority management. They support students' understanding of how these tools apply to assignments, projects and preparing for exams.

It is nice to know I have someone I can ask for help. They helped me get in touch with groups that study and other events to help with academic support.
