How to register for your RAP class during NSO:

In Person NSO

After attending your advising registration session, you will have the opportunity to meet with a RAP Program Coordinator to enroll in your RAP class. RAP Program Coordinators will be located in the Eaton Humanities (HUMN) 1st floor lobby during new student orientation dates.

Virtual NSO

Virtual NSO students will be sent the Zoom link for their Advising Registration session approximately a week before their NSO date. A Zoom link will be sent for RAP course registration to meet with RAP Program Coordinators to select a RAP class. Upon connecting via Zoom, you will join a waiting room, and the host will let you join the meeting once they are free to meet with you. You may need to wait approximately 15 minutes before being connected to the Program Coordinator if the sessions are busy, or there may be no waiting period before being connected. Please contact Carmen Jura at carmenj@colorado.edu if there are any issues connecting to a Program Coordinator for RAP course registration during a virtual NSO.

The Difference between Honors Program classes and Honors RAP classes
Honors RAP classes are NOT found in a class search within the catalog or the registration system. This is done to prevent other students from registering in the RAP's classes. Honors Program classes (section 880-882 or so) are displayed. In order to serve the entire campus with enough Honors courses, the Honors RAP classes are provided for the students residing in Smith Hall/HRAP; while the Honors Program classes are serving those residing anywhere else.
