BA in Dance

The Dance Program cultivates makers who move, think, and collaborate. Context, community, innovation, and survival drive our interdisciplinary practiced-based research of dance history, choreography, production, performance, dance forms, and more.

Our curriculum is designed to develop concrete skills in performance, choreography, teaching, community engagement, collaboration, and transdisciplinarity, for the cypher and the stage.Ìý For students who move through our program, we instill a love of dance, a readiness to move into multiple professional spheres, and a deep understanding of the roles that dance plays in cultures around the world.Ìý
